We correct violations by replacing faulty wiring, adding or upgrading circuits, ensuring proper grounding, installing safety devices like GFCI’s (ground fault circuit interrupters), and documenting all the changes made to comply with the code. We also follow best practices for electrical work to ensure safety and reliability.
Wiring Upgrades
DAG Electric uses a systematic approach to our wiring upgrades. We consider factors such as the electrical load, the type of wiring needed, and the locations of outlets and switches. Also, necessary permits are obtained before starting the upgrade. This ensures that the work meets legal requirements and is inspected by the appropriate authorities. After completing the wiring upgrades, we carefully test the new circuits and connections using specialized equipment. Verifying that everything is functioning properly, including proper voltage, polarity, and continuity.
Electrical Panel Upgrades
DAG Electric assesses the existing electrical panel and determines the need for an upgrade based on factors such as the electrical load, age of the panel, and code requirements. We evaluate the capacity of the panel and identify any deficiencies or safety concerns. When working on the new electrical panel, DAG Electric connects the grounding electrode conductor, bonding jumper, and ground bar as necessary to maintain safety and eliminate electrical hazards.
Electrical Service (meter) Upgrades
When performing service meter upgrades, we assess the existing electrical service and determine the need for an upgrade based on factors such as increased electrical demand, outdated equipment, or code requirements. DAG Electric contacts El Paso Electric to discuss the upgrade plans and coordinate the necessary arrangements. This typically involves obtaining permits, scheduling service disconnects/reconnects, and adhering to utility company guidelines.
Indoor and Outdoor Lighting Installation
We believe in collaborating with the client to determine their lighting needs and preferences, whether it’s recessed lights, track lights, pendant lights, or wall sconces. Assessing the space, desired lighting effects, and creation of a lighting design plan, we get to work! DAG Electric verifies that all fixtures are working correctly, switches are operating as intended, and there are no electrical issues. We want our customers confident in our work, therefore we conduct a walk-through with the client to demonstrate how to operate and control the newly installed lighting system. Ensuring that the client is comfortable with the setup.
Outlets and Light Switch installation
DAG Electric assesses the electrical system and evaluates any existing wiring to ensure compatibility and safety. We ensure that the outlets are properly aligned and securely mounted. If necessary, we may install ground fault circuit interrupters (GFCIs) for added safety. All outlets and light switches are properly grounded and bonded.

His skills and attributes have been developed in all areas including commercial, residential, new construction developments and remodels. Throughout his years of experience, safety, along with the understanding of regulatory requirements have become his strength and priority.
